More than just mineral water – quality, style, and Italian flair combined
CHIARELLA
Chiarella is more than just mineral water – it is an ambassador of the Italian way of life. Pure, stylish, and responsible, it combines the power of nature with modern elegance. A premium water that aims to refresh in style.
Chiarella springs from the unspoiled mountains above Lake Como. More precisely, from Monte Grona near Plesio – around 750 meters above sea level. Far away from urban influences and environmental pollution, the water is bottled directly at the source. The purity and authenticity of the region are reflected in every sip.
QUALITY AND CERTIFICATIONS
Chiarella meets the highest quality standards. The Italian Ministry of Health has officially recognized it as suitable for preparing infant formula—a strong sign of purity and safety. In addition, IFS certification by DNV confirms the high standards of quality and food safety.
WATER PROPERTIES
Chiarella is a mineralized, low-sodium, low-sulfate mineral water with a particularly balanced character. The pH value is around 7.5 and the source temperature is 10.6 °C – ideal conditions for a fresh, clear taste experience.
MINERAL PROFILE
The mineralization of Chiarella is finely balanced: the extremely low sodium content of only 1 mg/L makes it ideal for a healthy low-sodium diet. At the same time, calcium (41 mg/L) and magnesium (22.8 mg/L) ensure a harmonious, full-bodied taste and provide valuable minerals. The hydrogen carbonate content of around 230 mg/L gives the water a gentle mildness that makes it particularly pleasant and digestible. Small amounts of sulfate, chloride, and silicon dioxide round off the balanced profile.
AWARD-WINNING DESIGN
The award-winning Sympòsion glass bottle elegantly showcases the water (with its easy-grip waist and embossed base) and has already won several awards in design competitions. As a premium brand, Chiarella is therefore aimed at upscale restaurants, exclusive hotels, beverage retailers, and water lovers who value style, quality, and enjoyment.
CHIARELLA – A BRAND WITH A LONG HISTORY
Chiarella’s roots date back to the 19th century, when spring water from the mountains above Lake Como was bottled for the first time. Even then, its exceptional purity and balanced mineralization were appreciated, first in Italian health resorts and later in the region’s upscale restaurants.
Now in its third generation of family ownership, Chiarella combines tradition and modernity in a unique way, while the spring on Monte Grona continues to bubble with unchanging clarity and purity.
Sustainability plays a central role in this: resource-saving bottling processes, CO₂ offset projects such as mangrove planting, and a conscious approach to nature make Chiarella a mineral water that combines origin, quality, and responsibility.
Thus, every bottle of Chiarella tells not only of the Italian way of life, but also of a careful approach to nature—a story that harmoniously combines tradition, enjoyment, and sustainability.
